Brushless power at a brushed price. The ZLL SG116 MAX is a 1:16 scale 4WD off-road truck built around a 2847 4000KV brushless motor and a 35A splash-proof ESC.
Genuinely fast, honestly described
On the included 7.4V 2S battery the SG116 MAX runs at roughly 60 km/h. Fit a 3S LiPo and it reaches its rated 80 km/h. Either way, this is a hobby-grade machine that needs open ground.
Built to survive the landing
- Metal drivetrain - CVD front driveshafts, rear dogbones, wheel cups and a metal planetary gear differential
- 16 ball bearings throughout the chassis for smoother power delivery and less wear
- Independent double-wishbone suspension with spring shocks on all four corners
- High-toughness PVC body plus a reinforced front bumper and wheelie bar
Control that feels connected
The 2.4GHz 4-channel radio gives full-proportional throttle and steering - real modulation, not on-off. Range exceeds 300 metres. Three speed modes let you hand it to a beginner on low and take it back on high.
Run longer, run later
A 7.4V 1500mAh 15C lithium battery delivers 30-40 minutes of driving and recharges in about 3 hours over USB. LED headlights run in steady, slow-flash or fast-flash modes.
Goes anywhere
Simulation big-foot tires with deep tread grip tarmac, grass, dirt, sand and mud equally well. The splash-proof ESC shrugs off wet conditions.

Such an awesome rc truck. I added a 45a brushless ESC and servo. Also added a 3S lipo battery. Smaller tires to keep the motor cool. Also 2 cooling fans.
The media could not be loaded.
It ran AWESOME on 3s! Didn't even slow down or cut off within 18-20 mins. I'm very surprised but I think we need a cooling fan for the motor, well at least the ESC bc both are very hot. Lol. I just don't wanna burn anything up but the heat protection never kicked in, so I'm guessing that it didn't get too hot, right? I'm fairly new to the hobby and this is the first 16th scale that I've gotten and it's definitely a fun one. Wheelie wheelie wheelie, for sure! I can't wait to take it on some jumps... I made a few jumps and it takes back flips Super Easy! Also rough terrain. So far it's only been asphalt around my neighborhood. Thanks for the help and understanding in my situation. Oh, and I never switched it to high while using the 3s...not around my neighborhood anyways. Also after the 18-20 mins of run time, it still has plenty of punch left in it. So on medium, I may could get 25-30 mins. I tested a 2s 1600mah 25C first and it lost power after 12 mins on high. That's pretty good considering the times you told me. Also I ran it pretty hard each time. Thanks for the info and letting me know that it will hold up to a 3s. That helped performance and run time. I DON'T REGRET BUYING THIS AT ALL! Only upgrade that it really needs, are Oil Filled Shocks. Other than that, this RC car is a piece of art! I would definitely consider that anyone that's in this hobby, to buy this one and you will not regret it! Thanks
This is one of the smallest RC truck that are fast and strong is well built I think what you pay for . Is really nothing compair to another because this size my opinions excellent or see Little truck
Highly recommend this product! I purchased this as a gift for Father’s Day. Packaged well and arrived earlier than expected. Perfect gift for adults or children. I would consider the quality hobby grade higher than average. My dad used to be into the RC racing world and wanted to get back into it. He told me he was not expecting such a gift “blown away by it”and he was excited to play with it around the house in his free time.
